Parties Here! (Snooki Voice)
Well, I guess this week I’m going to talk about one of my favorite shows, Jersey Shore, on MTV. I believe that I am only one out of hundreds of people on this campus who have a devout obsession to the show. Each and every week I anticipate Thursday night at 10 o’ clock, where I will be able to get fulfill my addiction. There are a couple reasons why I joined the band-wagon and started to watch the show. One of the main reasons is because the first time I watched it I basically fell in love with Nicole, aka Snooki. She’s like midget/smurf meets the most hilarious person I’ve ever seen. She’s a hoot. The other reason why I like it so much is not because of all the drama or because of all the alcohol they drink, but mostly because all of the roommates on the show say stuff that I have never heard any other human being say in my entire life. It’s like the funniest, most outrageous stuff comes out of their mouths. I wonder if that’s a trait of people from New Jersey and New York, or what? Although, one thing that bothers me about the show though is that I feel like they make it seem like it’s such a great thing when you have a one night stand with a girl and then never speak to her again. Do guys really do that? How can you just meet some random chick one night, take her home with you and do your business, and then send her on her way like nothing ever happened, like you never even met her? I find that a bit ridiculous. Besides that fact, the show is pretty much hilarious. P.S. Today is Thursday, that means it a Jersey Shore night!

Who doesn't like a huge flower o...
I am obsessed with hair accessories. Whether it’s a simple bobby-pin holding my bangs back, or a rhinestone headband, count me in! However, my favorite hair accessories are my huge flower clips! A friend of mine back home makes, and sells these HUGE flowers that clip right in to your hair. I have a pink, purple, and green one and I used to wear one every day! I’ve kind of mellowed out a little bit but I guess you could say I am still in love with them. I’m sure in a year I’ll ask myself what the heck I was thinking.

My iPod Touch is my Bible
Last Christmas I had one thing in mind: getting an iPod Touch. And no, not as a present, my parents would never spend three hundred dollars on one gift for me. However, I took all the money I had got and made my way over to Target. I was like a kid in a candy store when I bought this tiny touch screen everyone is so obsessed with. It took me weeks to figure it out. And now, I could teach a whole class how to use it. I have all the original applications it came with like: calendar, iTunes, clock, e-mail, etc. However, I also have Facebook, Google, sixteen games (like Beer Pong, Farmville, Pacman, and Bubble Spinner). Not to mention over a thousand songs on this bad boy! I am constantly on my iPod, especially when I lived at home. I would sit on the couch or lie in bed and be on Facebook or playing one of my games. My iPod is my drug. No wait, it’s definitely my bible.

A New Life
On August twenty-first, two-thousand and ten, I made my way to a brand new city! I grew up in a small town called Morgan, Minnesota. Not many people have heard of it and when I say I graduated with a class of twenty-four people, their mouths really drop. However, living in a small town taught me many things. One thing I learned is that everyone knows everything. You really don’t have any secrets. Your mom tells her best friend, the best friend tells his/her best friend, and before you know it, the whole town knows who you’re dating. The advantage is that when there is a crisis in your life, you can expect the whole to be there for you, bringing you food, cards, flowers, and so on.
Now, I’m not saying no one is going to be here for me in Saint Cloud, but I don’t think the whole city is going to know my every move, mistake, and flaw. This city is a big change for me, but I know it will open many opportunities. And until then, I’ll have to stick out this tiny room and sharing a bathroom. |

sotally tober. :)
I realize that most people are only going to click on this because of the title, and unfortunatly this blog really has nothing to do with being wasted, but mostly about the events of my first week away at college. Although, I guess being drunk and the first week at college do go hand in hand. Ha, anyway.. my first week wasn't ALL that eventful. Most of the time I stayed in my dorm and got used to my surroundings and bonded with my roomate. Although, the couple nights that I did go out last week were quite eventful. One of my highlights of last Wednesday night was persuading a man on top of a roof of a house off of 5th Ave. not to jump to his death. That was pretty interesting. I also went to my first college house party. It took place inside of a house that smelled of beer and rotten something-or-another. That's going to be the last time I go there to party. After we left the party we were walking down the sidewalk and two of my friends just so happened to stumble into the street to talk to one of their friends. Just then, two guys across the street yelled, "GET OUT OF THE STREET YOU STUPID ASS FRESHMAN!" Well, my two friends who were in the street are not freshman so you can imagine their reactions to this comment. The four guys were yelling back and fourth in from across the street and it was then that I heard the best quote of the night, "YEAH, I REMEMBER MY FIRST BEER!" This was said by one of my friends so I was hysterically laughing. Maybe it's one of those, "you had to be there" moments, but it was great. :) In a nutshell, that was my first week at college.

Random Thoughts of the Day
I have many thoughts that run through my head at random points in time. Some of them are actually quite profound and might be interesting to some people. This blog is not just about random thoughts, but also about anything in general. That can range from civil issues in society to random facts about the universe.
